Where It All Began.

I first felt called to start Ordained Origins back in middle school. I had a lot of sketches and drawings for clothing pieces that I knew I could do something with, but I had my eyes set on something completely different.

Only recently, in early 2025, did I actually begin taking steps and being led to start a faith-based clothing line with Yah.

Over time I would sketch whatever was prompted in my heart. First, it was reading Psalms certain prayers would jump out. Then came the thought: I can embed this into clothing somehow. I remember speaking with a family member about some of my earlier designs and out of nowhere I described this specific piece, mind you, no sketches, no full concept of The Covering Hoodie yet. And from there the designs kept flooding in.

Stepping out in faith looked like diving in.

No finances saved. No guidance. Stretching my bandwidth. Essentially running off of conviction, encouragement and excitement from loved ones, and faith that the designs created with Yah would reach the right people.

I've had to overcome trying to control every detail, perfectionism, doubt, and a lot of spiritual warfare. But we made it.

Ordained Origins was started with the goal of wanting intentional fabrics incorporated into our everyday lives but has become a physical form of faith and obedience. Scripture and protection woven into the materials we wear, because in the world we live in, covering ourselves in prayer is crucial.

These pieces were designed with you in mind.
